Income officers can be deployed at centres throughout Maharashtra’s Latur district for the state board’s Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) exams to verify copying, an official stated on Thursday.

The officers can be current an hour earlier than and after the exams, stated District Vigilance Committee Chairman and Collector Prithviraj BP.

The SSC exams can be held from March 2 to March 25, whereas the HSC exams will begin on February 21 and go on until March 21.

The collector introduced a toll-free quantity – 02382-220204 – to obtain complaints about exam-related malpractices.

There are 149 and 92 centres within the district for the SSC and HSC exams respectively, stated one other official.

“All doable motion can be taken by the police administration to make the exams copy-free,” stated Superintendent of Police Somay Munde, interesting to residents to dial emergency helpline 112 to lodge complaints about copying.
