A police sub-inspector and three constables have been suspended for allegedly taking an undertrial prisoner lodged in a jail right here to a shopping center, officers stated on Friday.
SI Ramsewak and constables Anuj Dhama, Nitin Rana and Ramachandra Prajapati have been suspended for dereliction of responsibility, an announcement by the Lucknow Police Commissionerate stated.
Police officers stated one Rishabh Rai was arrested in a case of the Arms Act and despatched to jail in June final yr. Rai complained of some well being points and was allowed to go to a authorities hospital on March 7 by the court docket.
