A four-year-old woman died and few others have been injured after six homes collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra on Thursday morning reportedly on account of an excavation work in a close-by dharamshala, police stated.
In line with PTI, an excavation work was occurring in a dharamshala in Tila Maithan locality close to Agra Metropolis Railway Station. Six homes and a temple collapsed beneath its impression.
In line with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metropolis) Vikas Kumar, the incident came about round 7 am, per PTI.
“Three individuals have been trapped beneath the particles. They have been recognized as Vivek Kumar and his two daughters – 5-year-old Videhi and 4-year-old Rusali,” the police officer instructed PTI.
Each of kids have been taken to a hospital the place Rusali died.
Manoj Verma, one other resident whose home collapsed within the incident, instructed PTI, “With the grace of god the incident occurred within the morning when only a few folks have been of their homes. Had it occurred at evening, many individuals would have been trapped.” The police officer stated they’re investigating the matter.
