Police recovered 50 kilograms of medication value Rs 20 crore from an empty automotive close to the Indo-Nepal border right here, officers stated on Sunday.
“In a joint operation with Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB), our group discovered a vacant automotive on Saturday. On looking out it, 50 kg of charas was recovered value Rs 20 crore. Rs 2.98 lakh in money was additionally recovered from the car,” stated Superintendent of Police Prashant Verma.
The police have lodged a case. The automotive from which the contraband was recovered has been seized, officers added.
