Mumbai:
A 26-year-old man collaborating within the police recruitment drive in Mumbai died on Friday after working 1600 metres as a part of a set of bodily assessments for the job, an official stated.
The incident befell within the Vidyanagri campus floor of Mumbai College at 11 am and the aspirant has been recognized as Ganesh Ugale, a resident of Washim district, some 550 kilometres from right here, the official stated.
“After finishing the 1600 metre run, Ugale collapsed on the bottom resulting from dizziness. He was rushed to the civic VN Desai hospital in Santacruz the place medical doctors declared him useless on arrival,” the official knowledgeable.
“His brother, who can be a police job aspirant, was working beside him. The reason for Ugale’s demise shall be clear after we get the autopsy report. His household has been knowledgeable and his physique shall be taken to Washim for ultimate rites,” the official added.
An unintended demise report has been registered at Bandra Kurla Advanced police station, he stated.
