Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday remembered his predecessor late Manohar Parrikar on his demise anniversary.

Sawant mentioned Parrikar’s ardour for public work was unparalleled as he labored tirelessly in the direction of the event of Goa.

In a message launched on social media, the CM wrote “As we keep in mind the previous Defence Minister of India and our beloved former Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. #ManoharBhaiParrikar on his Punyatithi, allow us to reminisce the immense love that he had for Goa and the folks.” He added, “His ardour for public service is unparalleled as he labored tirelessly towards the event of Goa.” Parrikar died on March 17, 2019, after a protracted battle with most cancers.
