Three girls needed to be rushed to a hospital after they allegedly tried to finish their lives by consuming a “toxic substance” as a way to stop the Slum Rehabilitation Authority from demolishing a home in central Mumbai, an official mentioned on Friday.
The incident came about on Thursday night in Abhyudaya Nagar within the Kalachowki space, he mentioned.
“Amid preparations for the demolition scheduled for Friday, the three girls consumed some toxic substance and needed to be rushed to hospital. They’re at present out of hazard as per docs,” he mentioned.
The official refused to touch upon the legality of SRA motion however mentioned safety was given to the state-run entity on demand from the latter
